I Do. I Did.

Feeling nostalgic today. I loved my wedding. Every gal loves their wedding. Right? I often think about asking my dad if he will pay for me and the big guy to have another wedding celebration. Same place. Same cast of characters. I want it all exactly the same. Foul language, fires, funky steel drum band and of course the yellow school bus that took guests to and from the reception.

Want It Wednesday

Morning. It's Wednesday and I'm currently coveting this wallet from PPB. Hopefully this nifty lil' wallet finds its way into my Easter basket. I also hope its filled with $100 bills. Love me some Ben Franklin's.

Love all the nifty gifties above but what I really want for Easter is a lifetime supply of the following treats:

I'll fill my tank with gas when my car is running low instead of leaving it in the driveway with the gas light on for you to deal with. I'll even change the oil {if you schedule the appointment}
I'll feed the dog. I'll even take him for the occasional walk.
I won't spend all your money. {ok, I can't actually guarantee this but I'll make a concerted effort}

Repeat After Me

So I've been talking about the addition to our home for oh let's see TWO YEARS. Ugh. I hope I don't bite my tongue but I'm pretty sure {real deal yo} we are signing the contract to commit to our contractor this evening. I'm so dang excited I can't even handle it. Repeat after me: clean slate. I will now have a family room, bedroom, master bath and walk in closet to decorate. This is amazing. Well, I guess its only amazing if I don't end up in divorce court. Womp. Womp.

Wisteria. Repeat that. Everyone all together now: clean slate/wisteria/clean slate/wisteria

When I pull that shiny little gem of a catalog out of my mailbox the world just stops. I retreat to the bathroom, lock the door, sit on the floor and swoon. The dog can be tooting all over the house, M can be running amuck and NPF4 can be crying because M is frightening him. None of it matters because I am in a catalog coma.

Honestly, ~~you~~ I need everything in the catalog and on the website. I'm coffee table obsessed at the moment. As my M says when she sees cupcakes - I NEED THIS. Smart girl. I've obv taught her well.

I have two visions for my family room; both very different. These will fit with my first vision and the travertine my second.

Mirror for the master bath.

Have a seat. Don't exactly know where this lady love will fit but she certainly is a beauty.

J Crew rarely disappoints - well aside from the floral faux pas a few weeks ago. I will always make space for this dainty daisy darling in my closet. xox.

Psst... just a friendly lil' warning - my J Crew obsession emerges full force every spring. Excessive? Never.

Next week I'll start back in with my need to have nautical. Unoriginal? Maybe.

Ooops I did it again...

Before I had children I swore I would feed them healthy food, discipline them and not allow them to watch television. Fail on all counts. Actually, there are a whole host of other things I swore I wouldn't do as a parent, but like anything in life you don't know what or how you are going to react until you experience it.

So, with this being said I'm sure at some point (prior to kids) I witnessed a mother and daughter wearing matching ensembles and rolled my eyes. Ooops.

I just purchased these two items from J Crew Factory online.

For me and my gal...

I can't even handle myself. LOVE both of these pieces. Whether me and my love wear them on the same day - that remains to be seen. If you do see us walking the streets of M'head its totes acceptable for you to roll your eyes. I would.

Hopefully they don't get delivered to the door when the big guy is home because there will def be eye rolling. Stay tuned. xox

Splish Splash

Hey. I haven't been slacking. For the second time in a month I have a sinus infection and ear infection. Seriously, what 34 year old gets ear infections? Ugh. So today's post is dedicated to SUMMAH. I'm skipping right over Spring and moving on to 80 degree weather, beers on the beach, sand between your toes and sun kissed faces. I need the summer. ASAP.

Swimwear. Yes. It's bathing suit time my fellow friends. Suck it up or in some cases suck it in. I am ready. Four months post baby and this rockin mama is bikini ready. Gloating. Just a little. If you're not ready, well get moving. You won't get any sympathy from this gal. No excuses - especially the "I don't have time" line. You are no busier than anyone else. Make the time. I've said my piece. Now get to the gym or get shopping. Your choice.

I choose to shop.
